McGinnis Loy Finance is proud to be working with a large US-based International business, who are both a leader in their field and a highly valued and respected employer.  They are now seeking a European Financial Accountant to be responsible for the accounting and statutory reporting for their French entity.  Key duties include :

• Liaising with the French external accountants regarding the review of local Financial Statements
• Postings of monthly accounts receivable, accounts payable and fixed asset journals into the general ledger
• Approving payments for internal companies on the on-line banking systems
• Providing support to the EMEA Finance Manager with ad-hoc finance projects

To be considered for the role you should be a qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA Accountant with Fluent French language skills and have proven experience of preparing financial accounts under French GAAP.  With a strong awareness of the French accounting rules and regulations, you should also be a strong relationship builder (internally and externally) and be happy to undertake frequent travel to France when required.
