The Offshore Installation Group (OIG) is a fully-fledged EPCI provider of offshore mooring and subsea installation, module handling and logistics services. OIG are collaboration between established German and Norwegian partners, who are significant players in the offshore market, with leading engineering capabilities and in-house designed offshore construction vessels.
Further to a recent investment of $1/2 billion from Goldman Sachs the organisation is committed to becoming a Tier 1 Contractor and has recently formed a new Senior Management team with over 100 years of relevant industry experience covering all the major SURF, installation, EPCI Contracting , FPSO/ FSO developments across all major geographical engineering areas.
With a London office established offering engineering capability and a JV formed with Kongsberg Oil and Gas Technologies offering full detailed design capability, OIG currently operate two GIANT Class Vessels and have further commitments on fleet expansion. OIG combines high specification GIANT class vessels, with leading engineering capabilities to provide the full range of FPSO services required for the installation and mooring of subsea facilities in both shallow and deep water, as well as the transportation of associated heavy equipment. Providing this wide range of services, OIG is a proper “one-stop-shop” for offshore logistics and, therewith, offers everything necessary for conducting a sophisticated offshore project from its initiation through to final completion.
The safety and quality of our fleet, crews and the environment are key priorities for OIG's founders. GMS employs highly qualified engineers to secure quality leadership while all vessels of the H&P fleet are certified pursuant to the ISM and ISPS code. Additionally, all heavy lift carriers are certified according to ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001. Safety and quality leadership is OIG's priority in every offshore project conducted.
OIG is a global company with its head office in Singapore, engineering unit in Oslo, a supply and logistics base in Nigeria and further supporting offices in London, Norway, Angola, Brazil and Mexico.
This global presence and corresponding on-site network enables OIG to provide optimal first-hand support to projects in regions with otherwise limited logistical infrastructure.
